Dr. Ashlee Jones, DVM | Medical Director

I was born and raised on California’s Central Coast and received my B.S. in Animal Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I attended veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee and, afterward, practiced at a 24-hour emergency hospital in California before joining Avenues Pet Clinic in 2019 to be closer to family.

My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include emergency and critical care, ultrasonography, surgery and internal medicine. I truly enjoy being available in our client’s time of need and helping return their furry family members to health. In 2021, I joined Avenues Pet Clinic as a partner and Medical Director.

Outside of my work here at the clinic, I live on a working ranch and assist with all aspects of ranching. If it were possible, I’d spend the majority of my time outside of work on a horse! My four-legged family includes 3 horses, a Boston Terrier and a Boxer.
